The Flip Flays have been forging their good time summery sound, playing along the UK's south coast since 2008. Their debut release, the Beach Funk EP was released early 2011.

Drummer Ben Thompson was recruited by Two Door Cinema Club, and regretfully left The Flip Flays late 2011.
